Trekking tour Mt.Semeru - 2 days / 1 night
Best option for an awesome hiking experience to the highest active volcano in Java. Semeru is 3676 m and towering over East Java. You will be accompanied by our experienced guide and porters during this challenging excursion.

Day 1: Malang - Tumpang - Ranu Pane - Ranu Gumbolo - Kalimati
Depart at 05:00. Early morning a jeep will bring you in 3 hours to Ranu Pane village. Just after breakfast your hike will start through the tropical rain forest of the national park to Kumbolo lake. It will take 3 to 4 hours. Here you will have a break and lunch. After lunch it is another 3 to 4 hours to reach Kalimati camp. Upon arrival your team will prepare your dinner while you relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Day 2: Sunrise at the top of mount Semeru - Kalimati - Ranu pane - Malang
After a short night you will have to wake up at 01:00. Early morning... You will hike and climb to the summit of mount Semeru at a height of 3,676 m. It is about a 5 hours walk, but heavy.
You can watch the sunrise if you arrive early. Take your pictures, have a rest and just enjoy. Because, before you know it you are back in your base camp for breakfast.
After breakfast you will have to trek back to Kumbolo lake. Continue to Ranu Pane village via a different route and cross mount Ayek-Ayek. It will only take 3 to 4 hours to arrive in Ranu Pane village.
After a break a Jeep will bring you to Tumpang, from where you will be transferred to Malang.
