The most exciting tour around East Java
Day 1: Surabaya Kalibaru
Our guide picks you up at the airport after which we drive to Kalibaru where we spent the night in Kalibaru Cottages.
Day 2: Kalibaru Sukamade
After breakfast we prepare ourselves for a cozy four wheeled drive tour to Sukamade beach. On this trip we pass some wide-ranging plantations of East Java. To reach Sukamade we cross the tropical rainforest of the Meru Betiri National Park. The beach in Sukamade is a 3 kilometers long strip of sand on the Indian Ocean where 5 species of turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. Before dinner there is time left to for example walk around the kampong where people make brown sugar. After dinner a ranger will guide you to find and see sea turtles to come ashore to lay their eggs. Sea turtles usually come ashore around 07.30 pm and return to the sea at around 12.00 pm. We spent the night in a straightforward guest house.
Day 3: Sukamade Cemaralawang
In the morning we drive to Cemaralawang, a village near Mt Bromo. On the way we stop for lunch.
Day 4: Cemaralawang Mt Pananjakan Mt Bromo Cemaralawang Surabaya
In the morning we wake you at 03.30. After youve get dressed, we leave for Mt Pananjakan, which is with its 2.702 m the highest view point in the surrounding. At Mt Pananjakan we will drink some coffee or tea. Hereafter we guide you to the sand sea that you will have to cross (walking or on horseback) before you climb the stairs leading to the crater of Mt Bromo. After your return to the car it will be around 09.00 am and drive you back to the hotel for breakfast. Then we return to Juanda Airport.
