A relaxing tour in East Java
Day 1: Juanda Airport (Surabaya) – Cemaralawang
Our guide picks you up at the airport. First we go to visit the Cigarette Museum, Sampurna, to watch the handmade production. Hereafter we can observe the ‘mud volcano’ in Sidoardjo near Surabaya. Then we continue the tour to Cemaralawang, a village near Mt Bromo where we spent the night.
Day 2: Cemeralawang – Mt Pananjakan – Mt Bromo – Kalibaru Plantation
We wake you early in the morning at 3 o’clock and will have coffee or tea before leaving to Pananjakan, which is with its 2.702 m the highest view point in the surrounding. Here we enjoy the sunrise – depending on the weather - and the view at Mt Bromo. Hereafter we drive to the sand sea that has to be crossed before climbing the stairs to the crater of Mt Bromo. The sand sea can either be crossed by foot or on horseback. When you are set to go, we go back to the hotel for our breakfast. Then we depart to Kalibaru Plantation to explore its products such as coffee, rubber and cacao. On our way to this plantation we have lunch at a local restaurant. We spent the night in Kalibaru.
Day 3: Kalibaru – Ketapang Harbor
After breakfast we leave for sightseeing in Banyuwangi before we drop you of at Ketapang Harbor.
