A relaxing tour in East Java
Day 1: Juanda Airport (Surabaya) – Tosari
Our guide picks you up at the airport. First we go to visit the Cigarette Museum, Sampurna, to watch the handmade production. Hereafter we can observe the ‘mud volcano’ in Sidoardjo near Surabaya. Then we continue the tour to Tosari. Tosari is an agricultural village near Mt Bromo. You can visit the village or for example the Wildlife Safari Park in Prigen. Or, if you are tired, just rest in the hotel. We stay the night in Bromo Cottages.
Day 2: Tosari – Mt Pananjakan – Mt Bromo – Malang
We wake you early in the morning at 3 o’clock and will have coffee or tea before leaving to Pananjakan, which is with its 2.702 m the highest view point in the surrounding. Here we enjoy the sunrise – depending on the weather - and the view at Mt Bromo. Hereafter we drive to the sand sea that has to be crossed before climbing the stairs to the crater of Mt Bromo. The sand sea can either be crossed by foot or on horseback. When you are set to go, we go back to the hotel for our breakfast. Then we depart to Malang, where we drop you at Hotel Kartika Graha or Hotel Graha Cakra around three o’clock.
Day 3: Malang – Batu – Malang
This day we tour around in Malang city and visit among others the bird and flower market. If you think you grasped enough of Malang, we continue to Batu to visit Agro Wisata, where you can pick apples yourself and see the strawberry garden as well as oranges and guava trees. A guide will explain the maintenance of the garden and the growing process of the fruits. On our way to Batu we pay the waterfall Coban Rondo a visit. After that, we go to the hot springs and Candi in Songgoriti. In Dinoyo we enter the village to see ceramic home industry. Then we drive back to Malang where you can spend de rest of the day as you wish.
Day 4: Malang – Tretes
On this fourth day we pay Candi Singosari a visit as well as the Wildlife Safari Park in Prigen. Hereafter we continue to your hotel, Tretes Raya, in Tretes.
Day 5: Tretes – Surabaya
On the last day of your tour we go to Kakek Bodo waterfall in Tretes, after which we drive back to Surabaya. In Surabaya we complete the tour by visiting the Submarine Monument, Tanggulangin (leather shops) and the Mirota Handicraft Centre. When you are finished shopping, we drop you at Juanda Airport in Surabaya.
