Explore ijen crater

Day 01: Arrival Surabaya Airport - sempol Village Ijen area (snack, fruit and dinner)
We pick you up at your hotel or at the Airport in Surabaya (Juanda Airport). It is approximately a four hour drive to Pasir Putih Beach, where you have lunch at beach side restaurant. After lunch we continue driving for another 3 hours to the village Sempol (Ijen area), where you stay for the night. You have time to explore the surroundings and spent some leisure time in the hotel if you like. There is, among others, a hot spring in the area.
Day 02: Explore the Ijen area (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
After breakfast you can explore the area around the village Blawan and visit for example the strawberry garden and the coffee plantation, strawberry and macadamia nuts home industry, waterfalls and the coffee factory. After a day of exploring, relax in hot spring with sulphur. We spent the night in the same hotel as on day 01.
Day 03: Ijen trekking - Ketapang (ferry port to Bali)(breakfast)
At 05.00 o'clock in the morning you have breakfast with coffee or tea before departing to Paltuding. Paltuding is the point from where you start trekking to mount Ijen. It takes about an hour to trek the 3 kilometres to the top. On the edge of the crater you can enjoy a panorama at Ijen crater lake. Besides, you can see a lot of sulphur miners with a load of arround 80 kilograms on their shoulders walking up the rim and down the slopes of the mountain. After you enjoyed the Ijen crater lake, there is still time to visit the sulphur factry where sulphur is purified and packed in the village Taman Sari. Hereafter we drive you to the harbour, to catch the ferry to Bali. We can either drop you at the harbour or drop you somewhere in Bali.
Estimate time of arrival in Ketapang (ferry) around 12.00 noon
